Note blockquote> In some setups, when installed from a package manager (I know this happens on RH, but not sure elsewhere) the webmin admin user = root, and has the root password.

If you do this on a FreeBSD system, then there is a SSLeay port (pretty sure) so you can avoid the cpan.

As an aside, if you haven't used cpan, it's as my grandmother would say, "wicked fucking cool". Similar to a ports system, or a debian apt-get package management system, it allows you do install a perl (CPAN) module and automatically (if desired) pull down all of the associated dependancies.
